The play is based on the short story of the same name by Tanja Mravak. It centres around a family celebration where long-buried stories erupt, intertwined with the current situation of a family member who has unintentionally sparked a conflict with a person of a different nationality. Playing with clichés of the Balkan region and Dalmatian temperament — while preserving the warmth of human relationships — the play unfolds as a witty, sharp, and emotionally layered comedy with a strong dramatic undercurrent.
