Based on motifs of A. P. Chekhov’s Seagull
A SILENT ANGEL FLEW BY
Life has its ways.
Premiere: Academy of Dramatic Arts (2017)
The play is based on motifs from Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull. The number of characters has been reduced to six, yet the central dramaturgical line retains all the key situations from Chekhov’s original narrative structure. The story is enriched with new textual segments derived from the original play — partly through actors’ improvisations and partly through additional writing developed during the adaptation process.
The play was officially a part of Gavella’s Evenings Festival (2017).
